Rule Properties

Use this form to create or edit rules within a database.

Access this form by selecting the Rules node (within a database) in the navigation pane and clicking the design icon (to edit an existing rule) or the new rule icon (to add a new rule).

Name
Specify the name of the rule.

Owner
Specify the owner of the rule.

Text
Specify the text of the rule (eg @thevalue>0).

Bound Columns
Bind or unbind the rule to table columns.

Bind Datatypes
Bind or unbind the rule to a user-defined data type.
