Access this form by selecting a database node in the
navigation pane and clicking the restore database icon
on the toolbar.
Database
Specify the database to restore.
File
Specify the filename containing the backed-up database. Click browse (...) to select a file.
Device
Specify a pre-defined device containing the backed-up database.
File number
Select the specific backup contained within the selected file or device. Click browse (...) to view a complete list of backups.
File to restore
View a list of database files in the selected backup. If necessary you can alter the target filenames and locations.
Replace existing database
If unchecked then the database files shown in the "File to restore" must already exist on the server. The restore operation will simply update these files.
If checked then the database is recreated on the server and the filenames in the "Files to restore" list are created if they do not already exist.
Buttons
| Show SQL | View the SQL command necessary to run the restore operation with the selected options. |
| Schedule | Create a scheduled database restore job. |
| Restore Now | Perform the database restore. |
| Close | Close the form. |
