Database Properties (General Tab)

Use this tab to view or specify the following options.

Name
View the name of the selected database.

Collation
View the database collation type.

Compatability Level
View the compatability level of the database.

Files Tabs
View the file name, location, and space allocated for the database and transaction log files.

Automatically grow file
Specify that the transaction log files grow automatically.

In MB
Specify that the file grows automatically by megabytes (MB).

By percent
Specify that the file grows automatically by percent.

Unrestricted filegrowth
Specify that the file can grow without restriction.

Restrict filegrowth (MB)
Specify the size, in megabytes, to which a restricted file can grow.
