Step 1 - Select the database in the navigation pane
Step 2 - Click the "Backup Database" toolbar button
Step 3 - Enter backup destination (and optional settings) and click "Backup Now"
As a minimum you should enter a filename for the backup, or select a predefined device.
SQL Express returns the following error if the filename you enter is not in the \backup directory and does not already exist.
To avoid this use the browse button (...)when entering a filename and select a filename in the \backup directory.
